There's this program started by my friend Tomas' to help the youth in Oakland. Using hip hop as a source of inspiration, (as it should be) the youth use their amazing talents of hip hop to express themselves and what they've been going through. Lead by Distortion 2 Static's Tomas' and Halline helps too and so do a numerous generous strong willed leaders, this undeniably valuable program now has been approached with a team of filmmakers and the mayor of Oakland to follow around the youth of Beats, Rhymes, and Life and see what positivity can come through of the hip hop culture.
